How Does the Panama Global Pass Program Work?

Panama Global Pass is a Immigration Service that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in Republic of Panama.  Though intended for frequent international travelers, there is no minimum number of trips necessary to qualify for the program. Participants may enter the Republic of Panama by using automated kiosks located at Tocumen International Airport.

At the airport, program participants proceed to Panama Global Pass kiosks, present their machine-readable passport, place their fingertips on the scanner for fingerprint verification, and make a customs declaration. Note however, the Customs Declaration Form handed out on flights must still be appropriately filled out and signed. The kiosk issues the traveler a transaction receipt and directs the traveler to baggage claim and to a Customs Agent in order to exit.

Travelers must be pre-approved for the Panama Global Pass program. All applicants undergo a rigorous background check and interview before enrollment.

While Panama Global Pass’ goal is to speed travelers through the process, members may be selected for further examination when entering the Republic of Panama. Any violation of the program's terms and conditions will result in appropriate enforcement action and revocation of the traveler's membership privileges.
